My story (part 2)

This pregnancy test taken one day in June 2022 was very positive.

How can I tell you that this was not planned in the program. I, who already had my little tribe, had never considered having a 4th and especially not after opening my store.

If I had chosen to become self-employed it was good because my daughters had grown up, they were more independent and I could devote myself to my activity peacefully.

But here was a little being settled in the pit of my stomach.

Lots of questions arose at that time, how I was going to be able to manage the store, 3 children, a pregnancy, childbirth, maternity leave and fatigue... Well, it was a bit of a panic, but we to decide with my darling to take one step at a time. I wanted to experience my pregnancy without stress and I didn't want to think about the aftermath. My only fear was being sick throughout my pregnancy as with my 3 previous pregnancies, strangely this time everything was different, no nausea in sight, a surprising form.

A dream pregnancy.

I had chosen not to tell the customers, they discovered it as my belly grew and welcomed my pregnancy with a lot of kindness and encouragement.

On February 10, 2023 my 4th little wonder came into the world, an adorable little boy, my cherry on the cake.

And when it came time to organize, I was able to count on the precious help of my little sister and my husband to keep the store running. Thanks to them, I was able to take the time to baby and rest peacefully.

A few weeks later I returned to work with my little man, my baby kangaroo, as my partner. I wanted to keep him close to me; being self-employed allowed me to combine the two.

I had set up a small space for him so that he could feel at home. He had his little bed in which he never slept and a play area where he loved and still loves spending a lot of time.

Today my little guy will be 15 months old, he is always with me at the store and it is a real joy to see him grow! He took this first step on all fours then stood between the racks and the amused eyes of the customers.

It's two years that didn't go as I imagined, more eventful, more tiring but they taught me that when you want, you can, not without difficulty but we got there.

I always have lots of projects that are slowly coming together. I opened my Eshop, I work with the brands I have chosen.

Everything is taking me longer but I'm making progress. And for me that's already a lot.

This is my little story.

I almost forgot to introduce myself, I'm Sarra, 38 years old, manager of Jelisa Boutique and happy mother of 4 children.
